# Function: mergeCssSidebar()

Merge a CSS section into an existing TypeDoc sidebar, replacing any prior section with the same label.

## Parameters

### existing

[`SidebarItem`](../../markdown/interfaces/SidebarItem.md)\[]

The parsed `typedoc-sidebar.json` array.

### label

`string`

The CSS section's label.

### cssItems

[`SidebarItem`](../../markdown/interfaces/SidebarItem.md)\[]

The CSS sidebar items (from [buildSidebar](../../markdown/functions/buildSidebar.md)).

## Returns

[`SidebarItem`](../../markdown/interfaces/SidebarItem.md)\[]

A new sidebar array with the CSS section appended.
